He was born in Austin, Texas on October 8, 1929 to Bazel and Laversa Bradford.
Charlie was married to Patsy Glosson Bradford on July 30, 1989. He worked for the State of Texas Highway Department for 35 plus years, while also serving with the Army National Guard for 20 plus years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pflugerville, Ben Hur Shrine, as well as the Legion of Honor and had a true passion for Dogs. Charlie was selfless, caring, thoughtful, loving, kind-hearted, supportive, devoted, friendly, gentle and very generous to all. He was known for doing things for others.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Patsy Bradford; his son Larry and his son Wayne as well as five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, David.
