Carla Laub Crossno passed away on January 01, 2024. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and had moved to Texas where she met Ron, her husband of 41 years.
She is survived by her husband, one sister (Martha), three children (Peter, Leigh, and Chase) and four grandchildren (Quinn, Ella, Dexter, and Archer). Among her many accomplishments was co-founding and overseeing the Texas Academy of Palliative Medicine, which touched the lives of countless individuals.
In the words of one of those individuals, “she was grace, wit, discernment and intellectual curiosity personified.” In keeping with her iconoclastic character, she desires no services or public gatherings in her memory.
