Blondeen Evers, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Seton Williamson Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas. Blondeen was 85 years of age. Blondeen was born on December 18, 1932 in Hulbert Oklahoma, to the late Dorsey William Manes and Rachel (Luna) Manes.
She was a hardworking dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who was tirelessly devoted to her family. Blondeen was employed and retired as a food service employee for RRISD. She can always be fondly remembered for the love of her family, her faith, cooking, baking, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She married Eddie Clifford Evers on January 5, 1953 in Lewisville, Arkansas.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Evers and his wife Nancy of Cedar Park, Texas, Richard Evers and his wife Connie of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Edington and her husband Brian of Hutto, Texas, Mark Evers and his wife Melissa of Lubbock, Texas, Andrew Evers and his wife Chellis of Leander, Texas and James Evers and his wife Darcy of Arlington, Texas; one brother, David Manes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her twin sister, Christine Murray and her husband Junior of Jenks, Oklahoma; five great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shella Lucas and three brothers, Bill, Frank and Dee Manes.
Visitation for family and friends will take place at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with Pastor Jared Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
