MSG Billy Ray Richardson was born on December 30, 1968 in Midland, Texas. He was raised by his grandmother, Virgie Mae Lacy. Billy was married to the love of his life, Alyse Fortune Richardson. They shared a life together that was full of love, laughter, travel, and fun. His daughter Kiara Richardson was the apple of his eye. He was so proud of her and all her accomplishments.

He had a brilliant career with the Army National Guard, receiving many accreditations and having many accomplishments. His last role at Camp Mabry was working in the Resource Management Section (NCOIC).
To know Billy was to love Billy. He knew so many people and had so many friends. He lit up a room when he walked into it. That laugh of his was contagious. He was known as Uncle Billy to so many children. His love for all was evident. Billy truly loved to cheer on his favorite football team, the Aggies while sporting one of his many Aggie hats.
