Bernadine Porras Perez

Bernadine Perez entered into eternal rest on April 3, 2023. She was surrounded and cared for by her beloved family until she departed into the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Bernie was born and raised in Manor, Texas before moving to Austin to work and raise her family. She was a longtime member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Austin and a member of the Guadalupana Society. Bernie’s family brought her the greatest joy and she loved being a mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and aunt. Her family will greatly feel this loss, but they rejoice that she is in heaven with her Savior.

Bernie is preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Carmen Porras; her brother Jesse Porras; her sisters Virginia Porras, Guadalupe Hernandez, and Carmen de Leon, and her son Robert Perez.

She is survived by her son Roy (Nichole) Perez, her daughter Yvonne (David) Murdoch, her siblings Johnny (Janie) Porras, Simon (Lillie) Porras, Louise Morgan, and Theresa Blanger, her grandchildren Michelle (Bobby) Clemons, Marissa Perez, Kyle (Emily) Murdoch, and Kellie Murdoch, great-grandchildren Micah, Issac, and EJ, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
