Barbara Ann Miles

Barbara was born in Sterling, Illinois on December 7, 1938 to Orlon and Roxie Crawford. She was a graduate of Midland High School. Barbara married James (Jim) Miles on September 22, 1957 in Midland, Texas. She worked her entire career in the oil and gas industry, retiring from Amaco Production. Barbara and Jim lived in Odessa, Texas from the time they were married until September of 2018 when they moved to Georgetown, Texas to be with family.

Barbara enjoyed playing all sorts of games and was very competitive no matter who she was playing. She was a Life Master Bridge player. During the early retirement years she enjoyed square dancing and traveling with Jim.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Orlon and Roxie Crawford and James’ parents, James and Lena Miles, Sr.. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James (Jim) Miles; son, Randy Miles and wife Melanie; grandson, Lane Mitchell Miles and wife Sarah - all whom reside in Georgetown, Texas.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 12pm to 1:45pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with graveside services at 2pm.
