She was born in Austin, Texas on February 1, 1993. Ashley attended Austin schools and graduated from Akins High School.
Ashley loved being around her family and spending time with her daughter. She had a passion for hair and makeup.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amaris Torrez; mom and step-dad, Christina Facundo and Omero Facundo; dad and step-mom, Charles Hernandez and Melanie Hernandez; her maternal grandparents, Jesus and Rosario Tristan; paternal grandparents, Maurillo and Rosemary Mendez; sisters, Laurel Hernandez, Makayla Hernandez, Delia Hernandez, Jazmine Swindoll, and Bethany McKee; and brothers, Joshua Hernandez and Anthony Contreras.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Delia and Javier Elizondo; Angelita and Salvador Hernandez; and grandfather, Charles Hernandez Sr.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Ashley's life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
