Anthony was a hard worker, a devoted fianće, a loving father to two little girls, a great brother, a selfless friend, an amazing nephew to his great-uncle and aunt, Tio Roy and Tia Mary Ochoa, and a son you could be proud of. A talented artist since he could hold a pencil, Anthony also loved to skate, workout, rent Redbox movies, bury his younger brother in the backyard, play video games and shave his eyebrows to annoy his mother. He was always willing to help anyone he could, however he could. He was respectful, kind, and responsible.
In addition to the many cherished friends he leaves behind, the family that grieves for him includes:
His Ama, Angie Roblez who cared for him since the day he was born until the day he left us, like he was your own child. He could always count on you to feed him and take care of him like a mom.
His fiancée, Ariana Edmonds, who he loved dearly and their baby girls, Aaliyah and Camryn Gallegos (ages 1 and 3). You loved Anthony devotedly and gave life to two beautiful girls who are rays of sunshine to the whole family. Thank you for the love you gave him. You were “his person” and will always be a part of our family.
His foster children: Eli, Ethan and Faith Edmonds. He loved you and was so happy to take care of y'all.
His siblings: Daniel, Gabriel, and Felecity Jacobs and Christian, Brandon and Colton Adams. Anthony loved to annoy, watch movies with, and enjoy all-night game nights with you. He loved each of you in a special way and would want you to live your lives making him proud.
His grandma and grandpa: Neil and Shauna Jacobs who took him in when he was three years old as if he was your own flesh and blood.
His dad: Benjamin Jacobs who welcomed the role of father without a moment’s hesitation. You helped shape him into the man he became and Anthony loved you.
His Abuela: Mary Gallegos who took care of him when he was a baby. Anthony took his first steps into your arms.
His biological father: Homer. Without you, we would never have known the amazing gift of Anthony in our lives. Anthony knew he could always call you when he needed help.
His brother and sister: Mister and Alicia Gallegos. There was never a day that he didn't think of y'all and want the best for y'all. Make him proud.
His best friends: Caleb, Trey and Dakota, ever welcome in our home. The memories you made with Anthony are treasures and your friendship is just what I hoped for him when we moved to Round Rock.
His step-dad: Stacey Adams who taught him how to kill bugs and take names. You offered love, skill, and constant support and Anthony was proud to be your step-son.
Me, his mother, Leticia Ochoa Adams: Anthony saved my life when I got pregnant with him at sixteen years old. He gave me something to live for. He loved me when I didn’t love myself and he was my best friend. It was an honor to be his mother and watch him grown into a wonderful father.
I love him. Thank you all for loving him too and for helping me raise him. I could not have done it without any of you.
Instead of flowers we ask that money be donated to the YouCaring fundraiser so that we can put it in trust for a college fund for Anthony’s daughters, Aaliyah and Camryn’s.
