He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandpa to his family that he leaves behind to cherish his memories including his wife of 55 years, Sophia Ortiz, sister, Margarita Mendez and husband Robert, daughter, Sarah Chairez and husband Ray, son, Andrew Ortiz, Jr. and wife Sandy, daughter, Trishon Ortiz and Rodney McCullagh; eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home chapel, Interment to follow at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery all in Pflugerville, Texas.
