On behalf of myself and I am sure the City of Premont and its citizens, please accept our most sincerest condolences Mrs. Ortiz and all your family.  It was an honor having worked with Chief Ortiz during his short stay with us as our Chief of Police and his accomplishments and the standards that he set made him one of the best, if not the best Chief of Police we have  had. Thank You for allowing us his service for nearly four years and May He Rest in Peace. God Bless you and yours and may his memories remain with you for all your lifetime.

I used to speak with Sgt Ortiz each time I had connect a consumer to to our fraud unit at TDI, Sgt Ortiz always had such a pleasant nice voice, never a complained. He will truely be missed.

Liz, I am so sorry for your loss and I pray that God helps you and your children find peace and comfort.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
