In life, Daddy was a man of few words. However, when he spoke, his words had purpose. In death, we pay homage by allowing his own precious words - regarding death - set the tone: "NOW HEAR THIS!! This is a routine and normal event. Not to panic!"
At his request, we follow his direction to "Keep it simple" and "there are to be no lengthy obituaries". These words speak volumes about his character.
Daddy also asked that, "in lieu of flowers, those who feel the need to pay respects" please do so by donating to a military charity of their choice.
A Visitation will take place 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, May 24, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Graveside Services with US Air Force Honors will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
