Born on April 22, 1938 in Pflugerville, Texas, Adam was the son of the late Eliseo and Rita (Ortegon) Guajardo. After graduating from Manor High School, Adam served his country in the U.S. Army. After his time in the service, Adam was part of management with several companies during his career. He loved to play golf, fish, go to casinos and spend time with his family. Adam will be remembered as a loving husband, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.
Adam is survived by his wife, Janell Guajardo; one brother, Willie Guajardo; six sisters, Herminia Guajardo, Ernestine Galindo and husband Thomas, Delfina Guajardo, Rita Jonse and husband John, Lynda Jaime and husband Ruben, and Hope Olvera and husband Snow. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Jean Gatlin, and Joyce Holt and husband Bozy. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends. Janell’s family dearly loved Adam and everyone will miss him.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. A Liturgy of the Word service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2015, in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
