Surrounded by his loving family on May 26, 2024 after having just celebrated his 84th birthday, he passed away unexpectedly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Beloved husband of Bonnie Wells (nee: Payne). Loving Dad of Tami Perau (Roland), Cheryl MacDonald (Gord) and Melissa Arcand. Proud Grandpa of Brittany, Jaycee, Alyssa, Erich, Jailyn, Emily, Cassandra, Chelsea, Katie and Mitchell. Proud G.G.B. (Great Grandpa Bill) to Theo, Dax, Rylee, Beau and Elliana. Loving brother of Patty, Jim, Ross, Warren and Diane and the late Gloria. He will be fondly remembered by his wide extended family and many friends. Bill was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed curling, bowling, playing hockey and golf. He was a huge fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Blue Jays. Together, Bill and Bonnie enjoyed their home away from home in Florida. Special thanks to the I.C.U. Doctors and Staff at P.R.H.C. for their care of Bill in his final days.
