William James Gilbert

Gilbert, William “Bill” James; Peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday May 22, 2023 at the age of 88. The Gilbert family Patriarch and beloved husband of Marilyn Ann McKim. Loving father of Kimberly Sanderson (Marty), David Gilbert, Paul Gilbert (Anne), Vickie Bylsma (Brian) and Peter Gilbert (Nicole Truman). Grandfather of April (Mitch), Mark, George (Sharon), Bryce (Julia), Samantha (Stephen), Amanda (Matt), Alissa (C.J.), Maggie, Megan (Tom), Kaitlyn, Michael and Kristen. Great grandfather of Brody, Lucas, Gracie and Jameson. Big brother of the late Betty Gilbert (Ken Gorill), Stewart Gilbert (Dorothy) and baby Joey.

Visitation will be held at Emmanuel (formerly George St) United Church, 534 George St. N. from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday May 26, 2023. A celebration of his legacy will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday May 27, 2023 at the church. Interment Little Lake Cemetery.
