Wayne Elwood Nichols

Nichols, Wayne Elwood – Wayne’s family is deeply saddened by his death on October 16, 2017 at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Mann) and dearly loved father of Heather Curtin (Michael) and Ian (Shelly Hague). Proud Poppa of Colleen Curtin and Shaun, Jack and Abby Nichols. Wayne was the son of the late Wallace and Emerita (Black) Nichols of Bridgenorth. He was predeceased by his brothers Gerald and Glenn. He will be greatly missed by other members of his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Service will be held at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, 1140 St. Paul’s Street on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a reception in the church hall and further time of fellowship. Private family Interment will take place at Highland Park Cemetery. Donations in Wayne’s memory to St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or Peterborough Regional Health Centre (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
