of Oakville, passed at Moira Place, Tweed with family by her side on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd George Wilson. Loving mother of Steven Wiles (Linda), and sister of Sandy Clyde (Diane), Audrey Danard, Mary Lou Montgomery, the late William Clyde and the late June MacDonald. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by family and many friends.
After retiring from the printing industry, Ruth joined a recreation centre for seniors in Oakville and made a great number of new friends with a focus on folk art painting. She created lovely art pieces as well as crafts with her husband, who enjoyed woodworking. In addition to the many travels with her husband, Ruth looked forward to her yearly bus trip to Daytona Beach, where she spent time with family and friends. Ruth enjoyed reading and listening to music.
