Peacefully at Fairhaven Long Term Care Home on Monday, December 7, 2015 in his 95th year. Predeceased by his wife Aggie Bassett; his parents Harry and Beatrice Bassett and his sister Peggy Bassett. Uncle of Carol Harper of Gahanna, Ohio, Ron Bassett and his wife Jeanette of Jordan Station, Fred Bassett and his wife Lynn of Oakville and Bill Bassett of Castaic, California. Great uncle of Scot, Todd, Gary, Justin, Ryan and Tara; Erin and her daughter: Devon; Kara and her children: Kendra, Megan and Liam; and Shannon and her children: Emily, Abby and Holly. Ron was retired from C.G.E. and was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a founding member of the Scott’s Plains Kiwanis Club.
