Peacefully passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on July 12, 2023, just shy of his 60th birthday, at the age of 59. Beloved son of Hubert and Ruth Lapp. Dear brother of Kristine Shaw (Paul). Loving uncle of Samantha and Daniel Shaw. Lovingly remembered by extended family and friends.
A stone mason and jack of all trades, Bobby was truly one of a kind. He was a free spirit, was uncompromisingly generous, and had such a big heart. He very openly loved his family and friends alike.
He most enjoyed spending time at the family cottage on Buckhorn Lake, putzing around in the garage and being out on the lake in his tin boat. He loved listening to The Rolling Stones, and all his rock and roll, the only way he knew how (loud). He never stopped dreaming of motorcycles and always savoured a good home cooked meal. He was an animal lover, and truly delighted in feeding the cottage chipmunks by hand, all of which he had names for.
In keeping with Bobby’s wishes, cremation will take place, and for the time being, private family arrangements will be made. In memory of Bobby, donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences can be made at www.comstockkaye.com
