Blackwood, Richard Peter Alan “Rick” – Suddenly at home on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Sharon Blackwood (nee Putnam) for 55 years. Loving father of Duane (Kris), Gregory (Stephanie deceased) and Stacey (Tom). Much loved grandfather of Shae, Cole, Tyler and Todd. Dear brother of Shawn Blackwood (Cathy) and Lynn Mills (Ron). Rick will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Rick was retired from the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments of the Peterborough Regional Health Centre after 27 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his ATV. In honour of Rick’s wishes cremation will take place.
