With heavy hearts we announce Dad’s passing on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Extendicare in Peterborough in his 82nd year. Loving husband of the late Laurel (nee Macmillan) (1990) and Carol (nee Macmillan). Much loved Dad of Doug (Helen), Margie Bowie, Jamie (Garth) and the late Rob (2009). Proud Poppa of Ryan, Josh, Jessie and Jake; great-Poppa of Bella and Ethan. Dear brother of Ian (Lyn). Peter was the son of Leonard and Ethel (nee Bent) Unsworth. He was a member of The Kiwanis Club of Ottawa. Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1066 Western Avenue, Peterborough. Memorial donations made to Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by Peter’s family.
