SNOWBALL, Myrtle R. (nee Watkins) formerly Davis, Myrtle R. – Long-time waitress and hostess at Miss Dianna Restaurant. Avid Blue Jays fan. Proficient in handcrafts, especially knitting and crochet. – Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, June 3, 2012, in her 94th year. Myrtle was the beloved wife of the late Barrett Davis (1978) and the late Howard Snowball (1991). Loving mother of Robert (wife Esther) of Fredericton N.B., Ethel Kipke (husband Norm) of Jasper AB, Larry (wife Shari) of Campbellford, Gary (wife Sheryl) of Keene and the late Lloyd, Raymond (surviving wife Barb), Gord (surviving wife Lorraine) and Donna Ellis. Also survived by 3 step-sons Donald, Wayne, Bruce and predeceased by a step-son Michael. Myrtle was the dear grandmother of twenty grandchildren, three of whom have pre-deceased her, and thirty-nine great-grandchildren. She was the proud grandmother of a growing number of great-great grandchildren. Loving sister of Helen, Violet, and Venora of Nova Scotia, David (Deceased), Calvin of New Brunswick, Reginald (Deceased) and Leonard of Nova Scotia. Myrtle will also be remembered by many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Lyle Horn officiating.
