Peacefully, at Springdale Country Manor on Monday, November 17, 2014 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Vincent Serra. Loving mother of Josephine Hennessy (Jim) of Calgary, Godfrey Serra (Maria) of Peterborough, Susan Lemay of Oakville and Diane Redfern (Grad) of Peterborough. Proud grandmother of Jeffrey Hennessy (Erin), Sean Hennessy (Chantel), Sonya (Yanni Pelekanos), Stephanie (Don Young), Christina (Dan Watson), Adam, Bryan, Justin and Shannon. Great grandmother of Kaitlyn, Lauren, Tyler, Alexi, Damon, Ari, Siera, Dane, Mason, Rory, Bruno and Ralph. Dear sister of Rose Zammit (Larry), Roger Cauchi (Frieda) and the late Paul Chauchi, Jane Zammit, Sonny Cauchi and Iris Grixti. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at ST. ANNE’S CHURCH, 859 Barnardo Avenue, on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. A private family interment will follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
