Thompson, Marion Violet – Passed away at home on Monday, January 29th in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Merton and cherished mother of Murray and Myrna; and mother -in- law of Sandra. Adoring grandmother of Allison Bell and Ashley as well as great-grandchildren Charlotte and Alexandra Bell. Sister to Ruth Beatty and Evelyn (deceased). Grandmother-in-law to Brian Bell and Ashley’s partner Shawn Kretz. A life well lived with involvement in her Church, 4H Club, Women’s Institute and the Canadian Cancer Society. A host to numerous family gatherings and an avid card player. As a tribute, a Celebration of Life will be held at Centreville Presbyterian Church, on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Millbrook & District Food Bank or the PRHC Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre.
