At PRHC, on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the age of 83. Beloved wife for 63 years of Bill Pointon. Loving mother of Bob (Shelley) and Joanne Baptie (Donald). Proud grandmother of Wil, Laura, Jennie and Josh. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret, Reta, and Joyce; and her brother Edward. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family extends their deep appreciation to the paramedics, Dr. Shufer, Leah, the PRHC nurses and staff for their kindness and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 12: 45 p.m. at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. In honour of Marie, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
