Peterborough, ON | October 7, 1942 to February 15, 2018
Larry passed peacefully at Victoria Manor in Lindsay, Ontario, after an 8 year journey with Alzheimer’s. He is survived and forever cherished by his wife of 58 years, Marg (nee Conners), his siblings Earl and Violet, his kids Richard (Sue), Keith (Carolyn), Angela (Gord) and Vance (Hope), and grandkids Lindsey (Kyle), Jesse, Heather, Adam, Jaimie, Shelby, Tanner, Cole, Noah and Joel.
Larry was a wise and beautiful man with a passion for learning, music and adventure. From banjos to bungie jumping to skydiving and shark diving -- Larry lived life full out. His devotion to helping others as head of coaching at RRI has profoundly impacted countless lives forever. He was a true inspiration.
At the depth of his core, Larry’s true passion was his family. Nothing came before his family, and although Larry has moved on, his unwavering love, devotion and strength of character will live on forever in all of our hearts.
Overwhelming gratitude and thanks to Victoria Manor, Alzheimer Unit in Lindsay, Alzheimer Society and the VON daycare whose support of Larry and our family on this journey was invaluable.
