VANCE, Kathleen “Katy” Frances (nee Mellish) – Passed away peacefully in Peterborough on Thursday June 18, 2015 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Vance (2013) for 58 years. Loving mother of Bradly, Brett (Cathryn), Bart, and Blair (Fiorella). Adored Grandma of Marissa, Cassandra, Courtney, Jessica, and Peanut. Katy was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. The family is very grateful to the staff and residents at Princess Gardens Retirement Residence for their care. Katy sincerely enjoyed her time living there, especially overlooking the river as this was a great joy for her. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nursing and medical staff at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre for the compassionate care that Katy received.
