Ross (Keyes), Kathleen Anne- It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kathy Ross on Thursday, December 20th at the age of 46. Kathy was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, principal and friend. She loved to laugh and lived life to the fullest. Her contagious smile could light up a room, and will be dearly missed.She is survived by her husband Graeme and children David and Sarah, father Jack Keyes (Arlene), brother Michael, and predeceased by her mother Maureen. Kathy was dedicated to her family and was a true role model for her children.Kathy was born and raised in Baie D’Urfe (Montreal). She attended Corpus Christie Elementary School and MacDonald High School. She then went on to John Abbott College before moving to Peterborough and attending Trent University. She completed her concurrent teaching degree at Queen’s University and then began her teaching career in Peterborough. Through her daily actions as a vice-principal at Holy Cross Secondary School and then principal at St. Peter’s Secondary School, Kathy adored and guided her students and staff.It was while she was at Trent University that she met the love of her life, Graeme. They married in 1990 and chose to settle in Peterborough and raise their family. Kathy loved her cottage life in Gananoque where she spent her summers growing up and then sharing that life with her husband and children. Visitation for Kathy will be held at the Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge Street on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains, 411 Reid Street on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 10:00 am.
