Left us peacefully on March 3, 2012, his family by his side. Beloved son of the late George W. J. and Theodora (Budd) Myall. John was predeceased by his brother Bill, sister Mary (Fred Swain)and is survived by sister Pat of Chelmsford, Essex, England. Loving husband of the late Isabella (Anderson) and Colleen (Colden). Dearly remembered by daughters Elizabeth (Gord Lake), Kimberly, Patricia (Steve Filipowitz); grandchildren Geoff, Jon and Cathleen Lake;Joshua (Lynn), Luke (Jamie), and Dannielle Myall-Primeau; Shawn and jenna Filipowitz. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in chelmsford, England, John served as 2nd Lieutenant
in the 5thC/BN Essex Regiment during and after WW#2, before immigrating to Canada in 1948. An active mason, John for 62 years was a member of Corinthian Lodge #101; 25 years past Principal of Corinthian Chapel R.A.M. #36 and Midland Chapter R.A.M. #94;60 years a member of Moore Preceptory #13; 49 years a emeber of Moore Conclave 315. He was also an active member of Peterborough Lodge of Perfection 14 degrees, Rose Croix 18 degrees, Moore Sovereign Consistory 32 degrees; Rameses Temple and Kawartha Shrine Club; Hiram Council #24 and Zabud Council #15; Kawartha Lakes Lodge #23 and Bay of Quinte #11 of Royal Ark Mariners; Athelstan York Rite College #41; Trent Priory #74 York Cross of Honour; Emmaus Tabernacle #XLVII;Kent Tabernacle #118; Kawarths council #143 order of the Secret Monitor; Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia;Quator Coranti Lodge #2017 and Commemorative order of St. Thomas of Acon Upper Canada Chapel #15. He had held Grand office in Grand Chapter of r. A. M.; Grand Imperial Conclave of Canada;
Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Ontario; Grand Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners of Ontario and Sovereign Great Priory of Canada. A third generation Mason, John held all areas of masonry with the greatest and respect and represented all offices with honour and dignity they deserved. A Masonic service will be held on Tuesday, March 6 at 6.45pm at the KAYE FUNERAL HOME "Memorial Chapel" 539 George St. N., with Visitation to follow from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 99 Brock St. on Wednesday March 7, 2012 at 2.00pm. Reverend Terry Noble officiating. Interment to follow at Little Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Candian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would by appreciated by the family.
