Jean Cuthbert Jackson Whitney

WHITNEY, Jean Cuthbert (nee Tait) - Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Whitney (2007). Loving mother of Janice Patton (Tom) of Port Perry and Mary Lynn Grout of Brantford. Cherished grandmother of Lindsey (Greg), Holly (Jeff), Alexandra (Andrew), Lauren, Robert (Mandy), Matthew (Dawn), Katie (Jon) and Joshua. Proud great grandmother of Olivia, Addison, Alexis, Julianna, Sophie, Owen, and Natalie. Predeceased by her siblings in Scotland Bob, Jenny and Joe. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. A special note of thanks to the kind and compassionate staff at PRHC. The family will receive friends at KAYE FUNERAL HOME ‘MEMORIAL CHAPEL’, 539 George Street North, Peterborough on Saturday, September 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel.
