HOPE, Jean Edith (nee Dunlop) – Passed away at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, surrounded by family, on February 28, 2020 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Victor Hope. Cherished mother of Wayne Hope and his wife Debbie, and Susan Procter. Proud Nana to Andrew (Kristin), Aaron (Melena), Bethany (Nick), Stephen (Lindsay), Clayton (Stephanie), Victoria (David) and Great Nana to Macaila, Madelaine, Elliott, Lewis, Julia, Mallory, Eleanor, Arthur, Claire, Nathan, Wyatt and Walker. Dear sister of Don Dunlop and the late Lulu, Lila, Norman, Myrtle, Violet, Milton, Mabel and Marguerite. Jean was a long-time member and elder at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Peterborough. She worked at Sandy’s and Zellers, also in Peterborough. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 170 Steel Street, Barrie, Ontario.
