(Retired Hawker-Siddeley employee, who worked on the Avro Arrow.) – Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care, on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in his 81st year. Harold, beloved husband of the late Hazel (nee Collins). Loving father of Lynn Stear (late husband William), Jane Elliott (husband Hal) and Fred (wife Kathy). Dear grandfather of Carol Downey (husband C.J.), Kristen Destounis (husband Dennis) and the late Samantha. Great-grandfather of Dwayne Stear, Connor Destounis and Tony Downey. Brother of Harry Wilkinson (wife Barb) & the late Cyril Wilkinson and Clarence “Clare” Wall. Harold will be lovingly remembered by his dear friend Hannah Smallwood of Port St. Joe, Florida and many other relatives and friends, far and wide. A Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 1 pm with visiting one hour prior (noon – 1 pm).
