Passed away peacefully at her residence in Peterborough on Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 in her 91st year. Loving wife of 68 years of the late James Baird (2013). Beloved Mother of Jim (Wendy), Dianne Doxsee (Doug) and Pat Gutoskie (Ralph). Proud Grandmother of Jim (Julie), Beth (Mark), Patrick and Janis (Mike). Great-Grandmother of Parker, Ava, Isabelle and Sadie. Survived by her brothers Mel Burgess (Helen), Bill Burgess (Marion) and Wayne Burgess. Daughter of the late Arthur and Vera Burgess. Former Director of YWCA, member of Activity Haven, McDonnel Street Activity Centre and Shrine Club Cards. Retired Real Estate Agent of Bowes & Cocks. Member of Westdale United Church. Friends may call at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE (356 Rubidge St., Peterborough) on Friday, May 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 24th at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
