Frederick "Fred" Ray

March 23, 1928 – June 18, 2015

Passed away peacefully at P.R.H.C. in his 88th year. Predeceased by his wife Doris (Williamson) (2010) Beloved father of Judy Harvey (Les), Cindy McKelvie (Chuck) & Kim Blodgett. Beloved grandfather of Jennifer Stairs, Fred Harvey (deceased) (Samantha), Mike McKelvie (Michelle), Kate Rowan (Paul), Ben McKelvie (Alicia). Great Grandfather of Liz (Ken), Alyshia (Will), Danielle, Allison, Cameron, Reyd, Lochlan, Makhi, McCallum, Maeve and Anna. Great, Great Grandfather of Max and Fred. Remembered by sister-in-law Helen Harris (Richard), brother-in-law Joe Williamson (Amy) and many nieces and nephews.Fred was a long time resident of the City of Peterborough, where he was employed as a Firefighter for 32 years. He later enjoyed a long retirement, enabling him to do what he loved best – spending time at the lake as well as hunting/fishing Thank you so much to Dr. Robinson in the emergency department as well as the nursing staff of Palliative Care Unit of P.R.H.C. Visitation will take place at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME, 356 Rubidge Street - Peterborough on Tuesday June 23, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted for the Hospital for Sick Kids.
