Retired Stores Attendant, Outboard Marine. Our “Mister-Fix-It” who was able to fix anything quickly. Fred was often seen walking his dog, “Sola”, gardening or making his cars and trucks. – Surrounded by his family, Fred peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Peterborough Extendicare in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Arlene Boyce (nee Lunn) for 54 years; father of Barry Boyce, David Boyce and Sandra Boyce & her partner Murray Northam. Proud Poppa of Samantha, Dylan and Bradley Ward. Dear brother of the late Bob (surviving wife Joan), Bert and Phyllis. Fred will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Monday, July 1, from 6-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 2, from 12-1 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
