WHITE, Elizabeth Ann “Beth” – Retired from Kawartha Pharmacy. Past Scouts volunteer (Ladies Auxiliary) who loved the outdoors, canoeing and taking care of her dog. Long-time resident of Simcoe Street. – Peacefully, at home, on Monday, January 7, 2013, in her 78th year. Beth was the beloved mother of Craig (wife Melissa). “Mamma” of Zachary (Kathryn Demer), Jannette (Mike Kennedy), and Rebecca (Joe Czerniawski). Great Grandmother of Marley. Beth will also be remembered by her ‘sister’ Marilyn O’Hagan, her very dear friends Phe Kyne and Annette White, and many other friends and neighbours. In keeping with Beth’s wishes there will be no funeral. Instead a family ‘Celebration of Beth’s Life’ will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 317 Hunter St. West, on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Scouts Canada or the Trillium Gift of Life would be appreciated.
