Avid gardener and seamstress who loved her daily walks and helping friends and neighbours. Peacefully, on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 87th year. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Raye Menzies for 37 years. Loving mother of Robert “Bob” Menzies and his wife Caroline and late wife Kathleen. Dear grandmother of Sarah, Gavan, James & Anna Menzies and Step-grandmother of Laura & Jana Miller. Great grandmother of Keira. Sister of the late Victor Coleman, William Coleman and Jean Menzies. Beloved sister-in-law of Beatrice Coleman. Betty will also be remembered by her nieces, Julie Coleman, Karen Coleman-Gregory, Vera Hayward and many current and former neighbours and friends. Visiting will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, on Friday, May 13th from 10:00 – 11:00 am with a Celebration of Betty’s life at 11:00 am in the chapel.
