Died peacefully at Canterbury Gardens, Peterborough, on January 5, 2022. Beatrice was born and raised in Montreal. Predeased by her mother Isabella Eleanora Cantlie, her father Richard Forrest Angus, her husband Peter de Hertel Eastcott, her sister Grace Elspeth Angus, and her brother Stephen Fredrick Angus. Survived by her brother John Forrest Angus and her children Heather Campbell, Eleanor Graydon and David Eastcott as well as loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beatrice attended Roslyn School (Westmount), The Study for Girls, and Kings Hall Compton. She graduated from the School of Nursing, Royal Victoria Hospital in 1947 and was always proud of being a nurse! She married Peter in October 1951 and they lived happily in the Peterborough area. Throughout her life, she had memberships in numerous associations and was actively involved in a wide range of volunteer activities. Her family and friends will miss her kindness, wonderful humour and sense of family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
