William J. “Bill” Noll, 85, of East Peoria, IL passed away very peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior at 7:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Unity Point-Health Methodist, surrounded by his son and daughter.
He was born December 17, 1929 in East Peoria, IL to William H. and Clara (Singley) Noll. He married Annabelle C. Kidd on May 7, 1960 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, East Peoria. She preceded him in death on February 24, 2007.
Surviving are his two children; Rebecca L. (Richard) Partee of Washington, IL and Timothy J. (Carol) Noll of Mapleton, IL. Also surviving is one sister, Doris Webb of Louisville KY and (3) grandsons; Jacob W. Partee, Aaron T. Noll and Andrew J. Noll, as well as, (2) nieces; Christine (Jack) Shore, Julie (Ken) Schmidt and (3) nephews; Robert (Cindy) Webb, Jeff (Debbie) Webb, Randy (Carol) Neptun. Bill is also survived by (2) Step grandsons, Jonathon Partee and Matthew (Elizabeth) Partee and (2) Step great grandsons, Tyler and Landon Partee, and one brother-in law, Milton Neptun of East Peoria, IL.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Annabelle, one sister Fannie J. (Milton) Neptun and one grandson, Ryan J. Noll.
Bill worked for Foremost McKesson in Peoria for 35 years until the Peoria operation closed in 1986. Bill retired shortly thereafter. God and family meant everything to Bill and he cherished his time spent with his children and grandchildren and was regarded by his niece, Christine, as “The Greatest” uncle. Bill was a die-hard Cubs and Bears fan, as well as, Bradley Men’s Basketball. He was a 55 year plus member of Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Christ Lutheran Church, Peoria. Pastor Karl Eckoff will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. on Monday, May 11th at Davison-Fulton Woodland Funeral Chapel, Peoria and one hour prior to the funeral at his church on Tuesday.
Burial will be at the Lutheran Cemetery, Peoria.
Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
The family would like to thank the dedicated and caring nursing staff of 8th floor Crescent at Unity Point Health-Methodist for their love, care and attention they gave to Bill and his family while he was under hospice care there.
