Wanda "Sue" Jackson-Phillips

Sue was born on August 9, 1932 in Paducah, KY to Herrin and Amanda (Curtis) Cooper. She married Albert Jackson in February of 1948 and he preceded her in death in February of 1990. She later married Don Phillips in 1999 and he also preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, her sister, JoAnn Johnson and one brother, Kenneth Cooper.

Surviving are her children, Sharon (James) Showalter of St. Louis, MO, Randy (Jo) Jackson of Peoria, IL, Karen (James) Lagerbloom of Bellevue, IL, Deborah (Charles) Miller of Peoria, IL and Toni (Thomas) Mitchell of Sunnyland, IL; eight grandchildren, Patrick (Christina) Showalter, Paige (Gene) Stage, Justin (Molly) Jackson, Melissa Miller, Krista (Jesse) Bieneman, Thomas (Jennifer) Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell and Jennifer (John) Jourdan; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Terry Copper of Georgia and her nieces and nephews.

After Don passed, Sue took over Love Boutique II and owned it until its closing. She also was the secretary for Seico Security for over 15 years. She enjoyed traveling, going to Senior World, gardening and spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 2pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Karl Eckhoff will be officiating. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Peoria or Senior World. Online condolences may be made through www.davison-fulton.com
