Vinh Vi Luong

Vinh was born September 10, 1966 in Saigon, Vietnam to Siu Hong and Mien Le Luong. He married Jessamyn Urban May 27, 2006 in Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Surviving is his wife Jessamyn of Peoria, his mother Mien Le of Peoria, three brothers Shun (Sau Ho) Leung of Peoria, Kam (Guen Yuk Kwan) Leung of Hong Kong, Jackie (Samantha) Leung of TX, one sister, Jasmine (Paul) Nguyen of Peoria, three nieces and three nephews.

Vinh was a well-known and highly accomplished artist in the Peoria area. His works included murals at many area residences and businesses. Some of his most prominent works include his murals at One World Cafe' and the Peoria International Airport. Vinh also taught art at his studio in the Contemporary Art Center and he will live on in the wonderful art he created.

A service will be Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 11:00 am with visitation two hours prior to the service at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Burial will follow the service at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
