He was born on October 28, 1952 in Galesburg to Lamont and Betty (Stackhouse) McGlothlen.
He married Debbie Piersall on June 1, 1996 in Pekin, she survives.
Tom is also survived by his children, Andrew (Katie) McGlothlen, Mark McGlothlen, Heather (Irv) Mullen, Scott (Stephanie) Hulett; 4 grandchildren; and brother, Ron McGlothlen.
Tom was an insurance salesman with New York Life for 37 years. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Peoria.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
