Terry was born on June 21, 1943, in Peoria, Illinois, to Carl E. and Irene (Yorton) Roos. He married Lynn D. Vaughn on June 8, 1963 in Peoria, and she survives.
Terry is also survived by his son, Kerry (Crystal) Roos; his daughter, Sandra (Tom) Eaton; four grandchildren, Kristin (Eric) Dozard, Katlyn (Patrick) Thompson, Lindsay Eaton and Emily Eaton; and four great-grandchildren, Mikayla Dozard, Liam Dozard, Paisley Thompson and Kyla Thompson. He is further survived by his brothers, Carl (Kay) Roos, Rich (Sue) Roos, and Danny (Becky) Roos; and sister in law, Guydeen Roos, as well as his beloved grand dogs, Pumpkin and Walter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings; Ronald Roos and Sandra Roos.
Terry retired from Keystone, where he worked as a brick mason for 40 years. He was a proud United States Army veteran. Terry was an avid golfer, well known for his infamous three-foot gimme. He also loved going to casinos, where he had incredible luck!
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Private family burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
