She was born Dec. 10, 1948 in Peoria to Ray and Marianne (Mattison) Long. They preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sisters: Lois Johnson of Washington, Nancy (Larry) Breed of Brimfield, two nieces: Jennifer (Ryan) Davies of New Jersey, Heidi Lamb of Oregon, three great-nieces: Rosie, Mariam, Julianna, and two great-nephews: Shah and Ryan.
Susan graduated from Peoria High School in 1967; then received her Associate Degree from ICC in 1970. She was an EEG Technologist first with Methodist Hospital from 1971 to 2008; then for Dr. Gene Cheng from 2008 till her retirement in 2015.
She attended Crossroads Global Methodist Church in Washington. She also volunteered at the Dream Center Peoria. She enjoyed traveling, crosstitch, putting miniatures together in room boxes, and collecting dolls.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
