Susan Lynn Gordon, age 73, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, 7 May 2023 in Peoria.
She was married to the late Leon David Gordon for over 45 years and worked at St. Francis Hospital as a medical laboratory technician for over 40 years. She was active with the Anshai Emeth Temple in the '70s and '80s along with the Temple Sisterhood. After her marriage, she joined the Agudis Achime Synagogue, becoming a main figure in the community, and eventually taking the role of Mashigiacch for many years. She interacted frequently with nearly all extended family and was the point of contact that connected multiple people. She was a central part of the Gordon family.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in the Peoria Hebrew Cemetery. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
