My aunt was very special to me not only bc she was kind to ME but bc she was kinder than I expected when I thought I was already ruined and no good as I stood before this stoic, no nonsense woman asking me to choose whatever I liked in what used to be called a "dime store." I shyly picked out a toy that I always wanted but could never ask for at home.  You did not judge me Aunt Guppy and yes, I did what you asked and I forgave her-

To Sharon's children, my deepest sympathies.  I will forever remember her wisdom, guidance, and loving care.  She was the best Godmother and friend anyone could have.  She truly was an angel on this earth.  You are all in my prayers.  She will be missed.

Although my experiences of Sharon were very brief during her mission here on Guam, nonetheless she left an impression in my heart. She was sweet and brought laughter to my day when I met her. My prayers always.

Coming to terms that you have gone on has been difficult and slow.  Each day I recognize that you have not left us but have simply gone on to your final journey and will be at the door to welcome us when we meet our journey's end.  I love you my baby sister. Always

I am so shocked to hear the news.  We have been out of state and out of touch with Facebook and email.  I just stumbled on a message with the obituary from a mutual friend.  I cannot tell you how very sorry I am to lose one of my best friends; it is so very hard not to be able to share my grief with the family right now.  Although we have not seen each other often in recent years, Guppy was one of my first friends in Peoria and one of the truly best human beings I have been blessed to know.  She taught me so much about giving and being and life.  I feel like a hole has opened up inside of me.

Your finally going home. she would always cheer me up when the Bears would lose to the Packers. maher stay here in Guam doing her mission. she was in my community very sweet lady and trust the lord. 

She will be praying for me and for all of us.

It was a great honor, to work as a volunteer with Guppy at  Sophia's Kitchen.  She has fed thousands of our city's needy over the years and willingly helped them with other  issues they may have had.  She was a hero to me and an inspiration, I feel honored          to have known her. She is with God now , very happy, and  surely has a pot of soup or sauce  going on a stove up there somewhere,also, she is showing someone  the best and quickest way to make a peanut  butter sandwich!

Sorry for the loss that all of you are going through right now.  Your mom is in a better place gained her reward for all that she has done in the world to help others.  Wishes and prayers for all of you at this time.

Guppy my best friend Oh how I miss you, I feel lost-- inside you taught me so much, we did linens together, ironing, measuring and  yes the candles and at times we even helped Fr. with decorating so forth in that area.  The wonderful and delightful brats for Octoberfest, Spaghetti dinners we planned together, Cheese dinners, fishfrys Don and I cooked while I think you did everything else, shopping for food, and the list goes on,  You fed the Hungry, Counseled those in need of help, clothed those in need of clothing, gave very many a place to stay,  if some needed anything you found it for them,  you were the best and no one will or can take your place you were one special lady, you lived Gods way  and I miss and love you very much   RIP  my dearest friend  and remember the fun and laughter we had at our houses for dinners, and fish frys, cookouts

Guppy, you were the   kindest woman I ever met. You were a shining example of Gods love here on earth. You not only served the less fortunate, but also took me into your home when I had no  place to go. You showed  true Christian love to everyone. You will be missed! I love you, Guppy!!

Sharon (Guppy) had a personality that drew people in.  I always felt welcome in her house and at her table.  She will be missed by many.  May her soul rest in peace until we awake together.

I First met Guppy as a volunteer of the Sacred Heart soup kitchen many years ago when they were serving out of the  tiny church kitchen.  She immediately became part of my family.  I believe the Lord positioned her in the church to serve his purposes.  She had an awesome, big, huge heart for the poor of Peoria. Caring people of the Peoria area would bring food in  to the kitchen and she would portion it and give it back out.  She was considered a close friend by the homeless and on a first name basis with many of the cities poorest.   Many people would ask for other services besides food and she would try to be there for them.  Many times  she was their last resource.  Everyone was important no matter their position in life.  She was considered a friend by the homeless and on a first name basis with the cities poorest street people.  She  often saw that families had enough food to carry them through the weekend.  She loved people and people showed her great  honor and respect.  She is asleep in the Father's arms until the sounding of the trumpet.  May Abba bless her family as they go through their  grieving process.  This friend will miss her.

Guppy was a great and caring person who welcomed me into the Carrigan family (Butch's wife) with open arms and a smile on her face. That is what I remember most about her ~ that smile, mo matter what. No one can take away your loving memories of a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  And words will never be enough to express my deepest sympathy, but it may help to know that Guppy and the family is in my thoughts and prayers at this saddest of times.
