He was born on April 6, 1955 in Peoria to Willard A. and Lois J. (Massey) Reed. They preceded him in death along with one infant sister.
He married Rebecca “Becky” Eggemeyer on April 3, 1987 in Peoria.
She survives. Scott is also survived by his three children, Rachel (Zach) Hamilton of Kansas City, MO, Zachary Reed of Germany and Megan Reed of Macomb; four grandchildren, Joshua, Abigail, Gabriel and Natalie Hamilton; one sister, Andrea (Jim) VonFeldt of Germantown Hills; one nephew, Jake (Jami) VonFeldt; and one niece, Emily (Matt) Kurth.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Pastor John Hopwood will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church.
