Born November 12, 1946 in Monette, AR to Herman W. and Alene Etta (Strickland) Darr; she married Robert L. “Bob” Curths on June 10, 1972 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2012 in Pekin.
Also preceding in death were her parents, a nephew and niece.
Surviving are her daughter, Michelle Lee Curths of Pekin; sisters, Janis (Larry) Green of Marshall, IL, Carole (Bill) McDonna of Bradford, IL, Rhonda (Chuck) Haas of Ocala, FL, and Pam Darr-Heger of Chillicothe, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Sandy enjoyed reading and watching old westerns on tv.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside inurnment services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
Memorials are suggested to the Special Olympics of Illinois.
