Surviving are his wife, Cindy, of Peoria Heights; children, Alina and Trenten Boice, of Canton; sister, Jammie (Eric) Kelton, of Peoria Heights; brother, George (Michelle) Wood, of Pekin; aunt, Cheryl (Terry) Rupp, of Peoria Heights; uncle, Rick (Laurie) Boice, of Sunnyland; aunt, Samantha (Shawn) Pratt, of Canton; father, George A. (Zepha) Wood, of Kewanee; step-father, Dave Cox, of Peoria Heights; and great aunt, Faye (Lester) Cline, of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynette Hand; maternal grandparents, Jack and Bert Boice; and paternal grandparents, Victor and Emily Wood.
He was a good cook and loved to do so for people. He loved doing things outdoors like fishing, cooking out, and biking.
Cremation has been accorded. A private celebration is planned for a future date.
