PEORIA - Rosemary Richardson, 82, of Morton, formerly of Peoria, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria. She was born on Feb. 10, 1931, in Peoria to Dewey William and Anna Marie Gathard Ausmus. She married Donald E. Richardson on Nov. 13, 1946, in Lewistown, Ill. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 2011, in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ellma "Kay" Eater; one brother, Francis Neal Ausmus; and two infant brothers. She is survived by two sons, Donald T. Richardson of Peoria and Daniel (Connie) Richardson of Brimfield; one daughter, Julie (Gary) Clark of Yates City; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Rosemary was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and had been a member of the Mother's Club at Blaine-Sumner Grade School, both in Peoria. She enjoyed bowling in area women's leagues and played pinochle with a local pinochle club. Years ago, she had worked for Johnny's Grocery Store on Antoinette Street. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Peoria. Father Terry Cassidy will officiate. Friends may call upon the family for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in care of the arrangements.
