Ronald George Robinson

He was born December 7, 1927 in Marshall, MN the son of George and Genevieve Paradis Robinson. He married Virginia Ulrich on February 3, 1950 in Peoria.

Ronald is survived by his wife of sixty-six years; his children, David Robinson of Florida, Kevin (Susan) Robinson of Brimfield, Helen (Anthony Foster) Robinson of Wyoming, and Cathy (Robert) Lee of Peoria; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, Daryl (Jo Ann) Robinson of West Peoria; two sisters, Lois Wolfe of Creve Coeur, and Pamela (Thomas) Green of W Peoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clarence (Buster) Robinson; and three sisters, Georgia Piercy, Delores Petrakis, and Beverly Stewart.

Ronald was a guard at Hiram Walker for 32+ years. He also was an iron worker for Local # 112 until his retirement in 1989.

He was a Marine veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor Bob DeBolt will officiate.
